How do you execute the notepad file after you enter the lines? I don't know how this gets into the editor. Do you have to start the editor? Where is it?

Just double click on the xxx.reg file and you will be asked if you want to enter the lines into the registry. Or rightclick the file and choose enter in registry (something like that).

after you save the file as timeline.reg then just double click on the file and it will run and add it to the registry.

Warning - that notepad example has an error in it.
[......\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\hcwPP2\DriverData]

Remove the space in 'Servic es'.

That's probably due to an old forum-bug, we've seen it before adding a space to "services", this only happened to quoted text and not to "coded" text, or the other way round.:confused:
