IF you have SAF 4.0 beta20+installed:

Start GB-PVR in window and play MPEG-2 video.

run START - SAF - TOOLS - Graphstudio
Here go to File - Connect to remote Graph.
you should see similar graph:

If you see something different, please create similar screenshot and post here so i can look.

Your SAF logs (look on system root) can help too.

When I went to do the above I noticed that i had a different version of SAF installed. I then updated this to SAF 4.- Beta20 and reset the codec information and that has not only solved the problem but I have much improved video quality on both live TV and recorded. Thank your all very much for your assistance.

I have been playing around with various filters to no avail. Some filters display the stream as if I'm looking through a flyscreen door regardless of whether it's LiveTV or a Recording.

With the jerkiness, it appears (from using the OEM software that came with the USB DVB-T) that the signal fluctuates so much on one particular channel that LiveTV or Recording misses many frames to the point where the image freezes for up to several seconds, and audio skips. It often gets to the stage where it's unwatchable. The OEM Player appears to handle the weak signal better, but I think it uses internal decoders as I can't see them listed when I use SAF->Tools->GraphStudio.

When reinstalling the latest SAF it comes up with "unable to locate: CLVsd.ax and MpgMux.ax", which I am unable to find (even though I've downloaded and installed the latest trial PowerDVD) so I don't know if that's affecting it, either.

Watching the recorded file using GraphStudio shows grainy artefacts where the weak signal occurs (rather than missing large chunks of sequential frames).

You need to *unlock* SAF. Check you PM.
