I downloaded gbpvr on Friday after installing a tv card (Hauppauge WinTV-Nova T 500 (dual tuner)) and watched tv with no problems. Saturday morning, I did a test record from BBC1 (I'm in the UK) for around 2 hours on a manual record, which played back perfectly. Happy bunny. I'm running the latest version of gbpvr with no plug-ins or other additions.

I recorded two programmes yesterday and whilst they appear to have recorded, I can't get them to play correctly on gbpvr or vlc. It flicked through a 30 minute show in around 10 seconds (!), jumping from frame to frame. Live TV is ok, no problems that I can see.

I've tried changing various settings (I must have altered a crucial setting somewhere tinkering about) but don't seem to be getting anywhere. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling gbpvr (rebooting in between) but each time it seems to remember the configuration settings as I last left them before uninstalling! How do I do a clean uninstall that takes everything off my system so I can install again from scratch with the default settings?

I'm completely new to tv tuner cards, so any advice would be very helpful.

You could delete the GB-PVR directory between uninstalling and reinstalling.

That seems to have done the trick. Smile Forgot to check if it had left any folders behind.

Done a manual record which is fine. Going to test a pre-set recording now to be sure.
