FFWD FRWD Problem

I've actually been habing the same problem with trying to skip through shows in pvrx2. I have an AVerTV Combo PCI-E M780 tv tuner that came with a MCE remote. When I use the skip function, it works fine, if I hold it down... it will lag a bit but evetually go skip forward. But whenever I use the fast forward repeatedly or if I hold it down, pvrx2 freezes.

I used to have this problem too, but I just spent 10 minutes trying to replicate it and it wouldn't happen.
I have MCE remote 2a (original driver), and are using EventGhost and XP SP2.

Here is a thread going back to last year where some of us saw it. I still see it if I press FF or REW quickly. If I go slow, I'm ok and ocasionally I'll forget and go fast and be ok. But every now and then I'll go quickly and lock it up. Just for reference I'm using the Silverstone remote and the Purevideo decoder.
