WinTV-HVR 1800

Okay, so I guess I have no idea what I'm doing.

I just bought a WinTV-HVR 1800.
I'm running Windows XP Professional, and I'm hoping to use GBPVR to watch and record TV.
I live in Vancouver, and have Telus TV.
I'm still analog at this point.

I need a clear step by step on how to set this thing up, because for the life of me I can't seem to figure out with the available wiki.

The wiki is a "clear step by step on how to set this thing up." There are lots of people here willing to give you help, but you have to give them some place to start. Why don't you find the first step you don't understand in the wiki and ask about that. No one wants to write another wiki or try to guess what part is confusing you.
