I recently bought a WIN-TV CI module to be able to view encrypted channels. Work great!. I have only one minor problem. Whenever I start live-tv viewing I get a popup window as below. Does anybody now how to prevent this window, alternately how to hide it and keep PVRX2 in focus.

Strange, Uninstalled all Hauppauge SW yesterday. Reinstalled drivers for my NOVA-T and CI module. Still same problem.
I assume the hcwwintvci.dll is responsible for this.
What version do you have?
Anyone else out there having this problem? I guess there is a bunch of us using the CI module, does it work ok for you guys?
By the way I am using Vista.

I am on WinXP(SP3), WinTV7, Nova TD500, and It behaves similar in my setup. I am expecting a different Conax CAM, and will see (and report) if this changes things.

I am experiencing other issues though:

Can you switch between encrypted channels? And if so, what BDA multiplexer are you using?

What WINTV version (and accompanying drivers) are you using Oscar?
I downgraded to WinTV6 (software 4.6b) and this problem seems to be solved.

NJoy, did you have to make a copy of hcwwintvci.dll in and put in your gppvr folder. In that case which version does it have.

Ok, some more on this.
What downgrading to WinTV6 (4.6b) essentially did was remove the Win TV CI Menu Application from the startmenu...
Effect of this is that the popup now has the decency to stay in the back (but it is still there). So WinTV7 will work just as well, if you remove it from the startup menu.

And yes, I did put the hcwwintv.dll in the GBPVR directory. Thanks for putting me on this track Oscar, since it reminded me that I did not remove it when I downgraded to WinTV6. So it was the latest all the way: version 1.0.26086.0
In WinTV 6 however, I was not able to find a hcwwinTV.dll?

I have tried some more WinTV7 versions in the meantime (oldest the original v.1.1), and they all come with this 1.0.26086.0 version.
