Is it possible to control npvr functions with hotkeys or code request? If so is there a list of hotkey functions or code statements like how to pass a channel number?
Thanks
first of all if I play a live station from regular nextpvr all works with audio and video. When using x-newa and vlc video works, but no audio. In the audio setup of xbmc it says no audio stream.
If I change to something other than vlc Native, direct audio and video work for about 3 seconds and then x-newa locks up and I have to kill the xbmc process.
can anyone offer any suggestions as to what I can look at to resolve this issue? I apologize for the dbl post I made on this topic, but I posted in the wrong area under settings.
Sub, I think you answered a related question before but I can't find it anywhere. I have to change the way I access themoviedb in imageGrabLite because they are deprecating support for xml to move to json in Sept. Unfortunately when I deserialize it to xml it is not recognized. What xpath or equivalent to you use to read files in Media\Shows? Alternatively are nfo files in meda\shows supported. I don't want the nfo with the files because outer library directories have no metadata.
I live in the US and have my Directv box feeding my Colossus via HDMI for both video and audio. Regardless of the station I tune to and regardless of what video format Directv uses, I know the video will get captured as H.264 and therefore to watch TV via NPVR I need to specify an h.264 decoder. This part works fine.
I'm not clear on what audio format is being captured and am running into problems getting audio consistently from all stations. What audio format(s) do I need to specify a decoder for and any recommendations for what decoders to use?
Can't seem to get this working. Install is all ok, all runs, finds HD Homerun, scans and finds channels but.... if I try to watch Live TV it crash out with an unhandled exception.
Strangely enough dpending on the codecs chosen in settings I can actually hear audio on the extender (Raspbmc) but no video but crashes out on the server. As the Windows 2008 Server is the always on Media sharing file server it makes sense for NextPVR to be on that machine. Any ideas? use other codecs ?
Does anyone know which key on the keyboard exits the TVGuide? If I press the back arrow on my MCE Remote it clears the Guide, but if I use my keyboard I cannot get the guide to come off the screen. I thought originally it would be escape, but that does not seem to do anything.
I've looked in the Wiki but there is nothing about this in there as it should be a no brainer (again leading me to believe that escape should function here...)
SBS has changed its broadcast frequency here in Perth, Oz. I've tried to rescan my hdhomerun tuners but I don't get any entries for sbs. When I use the hdhomerun setup utility it finds the stations without any problem. I think the new frequency is 536.625 MHz, if that helps. Looks like a bug but is there anything I can try?
