Since the rebuild of my HTPC, I can no longer play bluray's in NPVR. It comes up with a no disc in drive D: message box when I select the DVD menu. Regular DVD's seem to play fine. I have AnyDVD HD installed and the LAV decoders selected under the DVD settings. Under Windows Explorer, I can select the bluray disc (drive D and double click on the .m2ts file of choice and it will start playing with MPC. I've looked in the npvr.log but it looks like it only logs my keystroke and how long it took to process the keystroke. I have SAF 6.1.2 installed.
Any ideas (or debugging tips) are welcome and I shall try them when I get home from work.
When I set recordings from a client if recordings are already set it tells me i have to cancel
2 tuners dvb-s one only has tvnz the other only canwest stations
if im recording tv1 it will let me record tv2
but if i try and record tv3 or tv4 or prime (canwest) while already having tvnz stations recording it will say i have to cancel
It would rarely happen with 2.4.3 and now with 2.5.5 it is happening more frequently. Just simply, some recordings freeze frame all the time and jump forward a few seconds on and on. Other recordings are perfectly fine.
Now that I think of it, I cannot recall this happening with 2.3.6 so I might reinstall that version but I would rather figure out what has changed in NPVR that is now causing this to be more frequent.
My logs are attached but I am not sure if they will be of any real help.
After upgrading to NPVR 2.5.5 my videos(Mpeg format) and recordings wouldn't play on my NMT, but they will play on my computer. I thought maybe the
cumulative patch R1 would fix this problem so I installed that. Now the NPVR menu will not even come up on my NMT. Attached are my logs.
I have set up the NVR but unable to record. Whenever I click on live tv or recordings it pops up a massage saying buffer directory is not properly set so I went to setting and clicked on misc and set it to a folder and when i click live tv it tells me unable to find capture device therefore i am unable to record. Please help. I went through the npvr guide of how to set up but it was too complicted for me to solve the problem. please Help.
I am running the 2.5.5 with the latest patches. When I am on Live TV and change the channel, Live TV completely freezes. Sometimes it comes back if I wait a few minutes and sometimes it does not. Also when I try to change the channel, I hear about a second of the new channel's audio before it freezes.
I have tried different decoders and changed the Live TV buffer directory without any luck.
I had this problem awhile ago but it went away with an NPVR update...
I had some problems with the service starting so I removed the program and both directories. Then I installed a new copy. However, since the new install it cannot find my analog devices. I removed and re-installed the devices and the SOftpvr software and same problem.
My logs are attached. Thanks
Yesterday I woke my PC up to do some maintenance and I noted that 20 minutes later I had a scheduled recording. When I finished, it got my wondering when NRecord starts block requests. If my PC is set to wake up 90 seconds before recording will NRecord prevent the the PC from going to sleep during that window? I know NTray doesn't seem to care
My NextPVR server is at IP address 192.168.1.50 on the LAN and I allow access to NEWA without logging in within the LAN. If I type either http://192.168.1.50:8866/login.aspx or http://192.168.1.50:8866/login2.aspx into my browser, it fails, trying to redirect the browser to Logon.aspx.

Using a URL that goes directly to the Guide or something else works fine. While I know that I don't need to login when I'm on my LAN, I was surprised the URL redirection fails the way it does. Also, externally I can login fine - the pages work as expected.
I noticed this for the first time with the latest NextPVR release but figured it was one of the problems with integrating 1.25 and the new mobile interface, but it may have existed before that. It still occurs with 1.26.
