Delete recordings with the 'record' key (Ctrl-K)
Posted by: jcjefferies - 2011-09-02, 09:58 AM - Forum: Legacy (v4.x and earlier) - Replies (6)

One of the new features of V2.2.6 as the ability to "delete recordings with the 'record' key (Ctrl-K)". Is this supposed to work with a MCE remote? The "Record" button on my remote generates Ctrl-R which would seem logical so does not delete.

Always saving to file - we need an option . . .
Posted by: a_edwall - 2011-09-02, 07:13 AM - Forum: Wishlist - No Replies

It would be good to have an option that controls whether or not I want to watch LiveTV and have it save everything to a file with my having no way NOT to do this. Sometimes I just want to watch TV, not save to file and thus save taxing my computer system because it spends a lot of time doing this real-time saving to file. I should be able to control whether it does this or not. Thank you.

Add a hotkey for muting the sound when in LiveTV mode.

Seems like it would be a good idea to have a hotkey for muting LiveTV audio.

When I am viewing Live TV and right-click, why is the "Main Menu" menu missing?

My context menu is:

Open File
Live TV
Channels
Pause
Play

What happened to "Main Menu"?

HD dvr-ms files stop after a few seconds
Posted by: jmsurprenant33 - 2011-09-02, 02:22 AM - Forum: Legacy (v4.x and earlier) - Replies (1)

Hi,

I have started to record HD tv shows on my windows vista media center computer. When I try to read the files with my windows xp / nextpvr computer, the file starts normally and stops after a few seconds. The same thing happens when opening the files with media player 11. I wonder if it could be because the xp computer does not have the HD capabilities. Is there someway to convert the files in real time without having to launch a converter, wait for the file to convert and then watch it with nextpvr? Is there something else that would fix the problem?

thanks for your help

JMS

Aspect ratio / F7 has no effect.
Posted by: wodger - 2011-09-02, 01:33 AM - Forum: Legacy (v4.x and earlier) - Replies (2)

Aspect ratio changes (F7 or selecting AR's from the right click menu) have no effect on my client machine. All recordings play in 4:3 dimensions and F7 does nothing. Not sure if this is related to my "Directx not available - high CPU" thread? It's an old Lenovo Thinkstation but it worked fine on this box under GBPVR - F7 worked and recordings displayed nicely in 16:9 on my 3:4 monitor (which is what I'm after).

This issue existed before 2.2.6 btw

2.2.6 Delete recordings "object reference not set to an instance of an object"
Posted by: wodger - 2011-09-02, 01:28 AM - Forum: Legacy (v4.x and earlier) - Replies (1)

If you press ctrl+k on the recordings screen, where the list actually contains "folders" which contain the recordings themselves, you get "object reference not set to an instance of an object".

Works fine if you go into the program's "folder" and ctrl+k individual recordings.
