  Auto-concatenate on GBPVR recording interruption?
Posted by: jksmurf - 2007-08-01, 02:20 PM - Forum: Wishlist - Replies (19)

I was recording something on my server when my PC rebooted for some reason and am left with two files, one of which (-2) is still recording as I type.

Do these
(i) auto-concatenate after completion of the recording OR
(ii) do they just play back concurrently OR
(iii) do I need to join them manually?

The Nine_20070801_21352230.mpg
The Nine_20070801_21352230-2.mpg

If (i) great, if not then can I wishlist this?

[EDIT]Ooops I see from here it's been asked before. Same answer?

  1.0.8 jittering
Posted by: chalkster99 - 2007-08-01, 11:24 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (15)

Ive seen the post and post on the new PVRX2 exe detailling that no overlay playback is possible now ..
I'm getting heavy jittering on live playback and recording playback.
the GBPVR exe is fine and displays fine still .. AVI playback is fine thru PVRX2 ...
My hardware should have enough horsepower.. see below.
Are there any drivers or settings I should be looking at here to get success with VMR9?

BTW sub, love the new interface.. very speccy .. and would like to use it ..
cheers pc

  What antenna for the wMVP?
Posted by: nia - 2007-08-01, 10:03 AM - Forum: MVP & NMT - Replies (9)

Hi.

I got a wMVP in a (sealed) MVP box last time I bought a plain MVP Smile . Nice. Unfortunately there was no antenna in the box.

Does anyone know what loose antenna to buy that would attach to the socket?

I'm thinking that "Somebrand" accessory wireless router antenna would do...

TIA

  Entering a Four Digit Channel
Posted by: tdoman - 2007-08-01, 06:30 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

I have DISH tv that goes up to 4 digit channel numbers. But when I setup GBPVR, it appears to only allow up to 3 digit channel numbers. Is there somewhere that I can configure it to allow 4 digits to be entered?

New User Graph Recorder Plugin Troubles
Posted by: fyodor - 2007-08-01, 04:52 AM - Forum: Old Stuff (Legacy) - Replies (1)

Hi,

I am a new user trying to set up GB-PVR. I am trying to set up the graph recorder plugin for firewire. This is my first time installing a plugin with GB-PVR.

I have extracted the plugin into the main GB-PVR directory so that the config files (e.g. "config.exe.config)" are in the main gb-pvr directory and the associated DLLs are in the "plugin" directory. I'm not really sure though how to go from here. The plugin doesn't show up under the "plugins" tab and I can't find it under in the video capture "recorder plugins" list either. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I have a feeling that I'm just missing something obvious.

  1.08 Problem on close
Posted by: Howry - 2007-08-01, 04:51 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (4)

Everytime I close PVRX2 Via the exit button I get the PVRX2 has encountered and error and must close line. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this? Anyone else run into it?

The same happens with GBPVR.

Any ideas?

Would it be possible to run "uniqu" on the Genre list before it is created?
I have 5 "Action", many "Adventure", etc.
Just makes this list long for no reason.
thanks

  No Live TV
Posted by: wildeyed - 2007-08-01, 04:18 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (6)

I just bought an ATI Theater 550 Pro tuner for my PC ( Dell xps 410 - pentium D 2.8ghz, 1gig Ram, Vista Business ) and the software that came with it is garbage. It doesn't work with the Tuner even though says Vista ready. arg! Thanks ATI! I've installed pvrX2 and have been able to get TV listings to work and the channel scan worked, epg imported fine. Problem is Live TV just returns to the main menu after a couple seconds.

It installed ok but, ReRegisterFilters returns some DLLs installed but call did not return.
GBPVRParser.ax returned error 0x80070005
PsiParser.ax returned error 0x80070005
GBPvRFlowStatus.ax same error
asyncflt.ax same error
GBPvRWriter.ax same error
WSTSRTAnalog.ax same error
WSTSRTDigital.ax same error
DVBSubtitles.ax same error
netasyncflt.ax same
GBPVRTSMus.ax ditto

Even went to the GBPVR folder and ran the batch as "Administrator".

Any Ideas?

Simple way to start & stop recording
Posted by: bradfah - 2007-08-01, 04:10 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

Is there any simple way to manually start and stop recording without having to program a start and stop time. This would be convenient for the process I am going through to capture video from VCR tapes.

Help much appreciated
