Okay, I've been doing a bit of playing around with the MusicAlbums2 plugin, to get an understanding of how this stuff works. And having reasonable success. But I can't seem to get any log information out of the beast. Is there something fundamental that I need to know?
I have a bunch of Logger.Verbose calls; everything compiles fine, and I've tried setting the logging level to both Error and Verbose. But I can't find any sign of any of the logs in any files in the gbpvr directory tree.
Btw; when using SharpDevelop, is there any way to debug a plugin, other than using the log information? For instance, is there any way to actually set up breakpoints and do real source code debugging?
Any pointers would be appreciated. I didn't notice anything in the tutorial, and didn't have any luck searching for any related info on the forum.
I'm running latest GB-PVR version using a PVR-150 with XP pro and a few MVP's. I believe I'm running the driver that came with the 150 (2.0.30.23083). Hauppauge has posted updated driver (2.2.23257) and shspvr.com posts (2.0.35.23297). Various forum postings mention success and problems with each. I was hoping that updating the driver would fix an occassional time stamp problem, but I don't want to replace a minor problem with something worse. Any recommendations on which driver to use would be appreciated. Thanks.
EDIT: I've pulled the download for this. If you use 0.95.11 or later the 'Complete EPG reload' option on the Capture Sources page in Config will have the same effect.
If you want to continue to use an older version of GB-PVR and would like a copy of CleanEPG then PM me. Original message below...
NOTE - For XMLTV users ONLY
I had a few responses to the first version and some feedback (mostly along the lines that it didn't work :o ). Hey! It worked fine for me but what can I say? Anyway, I'm still looking for testers (it's a new version).
What it does...
Checks Pending recordings in the GB-PVR database against XMLTV file sources and deletes them from the database if they don't match.
By default this runs in 'logging-only' mode. It won't delete from the database but you can check the CleanEPG.log file to make sure you agree with what would be deleted.
To use...
Unzip all files to your GB-PVR install folder
Open a command prompt, change directory to the GB-PVR folder and run...
CleanEPG
Check the logfile to see if you agree with what it thinks are invalid pending recordings
To delete the invalid pending recordings use...
CleanEPG -clean
You can also use -usestoptime to make it check that the end times of the pending recording are correct.
If you want to test it, use it WITHOUT the -clean switch first. If things don't look right then zip your CleanEPG.log file and your XMLTV file and email them to me.
ok i have been using zap2it for sometime and it has worked fine well untill it stopped working on me. it no longer tells me what its on. i have no guide info at all. I have tryed 2 diff acounts and still nothing. on the site the info is there.
I'm trying to burn to a dvd and as I understand it, F11 on the keyboard should result in a popup to choose 'Burn' etc... All it does is return to the main GBPVR menu. Does this have something to do with the KeyPad and OnScreenKeyboard folders that came with MyVideos?
You may have noticed that to date, my skins tend to have a high WAF. This comes from knowledge gained by 30+ years of marital experience, and occasional exasperation.
I currently have enough space left on my small web site for one more theme and I feel in need of a change.
So, what do you want?
In a skin theme. That’s the look, not the functionality. The skin will be based on the current capabilities of GBPVR, please don’t ask for new features. Do that elsewhere.
