I have got a FireDTV CI/S which works fine with MY Theater that comes with the receiver. I have installed the BDA drivers and setup a recording source in GB-PVR. When I select "Map digital channels to EPG channels" the PC crash immediatly and reboots.
I don't have any problem with my normal recording source PVR-350.
just wondered If I could open up my games constantly on my TV (that is my second device). I got an ATI Grafix Gard and installed Hyrdavision but that works only for windows so far.
So any possibility to tell fullscreen games to open on Monitor 2?
As the subject, really. Cancelled a recording during its pre-show padding period last night - noticed it was still present and listed as "Recording" in the Pending Recordings list. After cancelling that too, Live TV doesn't work. Is there maybe an issue with a recording not being properly cancelled during the padding period? This happens regardless of whether Live Preview is on or off, and continues despite rebooting the PC.
I have downloaded Cyberlink's PowerVCRII so i can use the mpgmux.ax file. So far so good, but bearing in mind i downloaded the current version of PowerVCR, the version of my mpgmux.ax is 3.0.something.
Where are you peeps getting version 5.0.0.whatever of this file from?
When I get the SkyTV NZ EPG from the Mr Geek site, the source channel numbers don't match the sky decoder channels. Is there any easy way to fix this or do I just need to go edit all the source channel numbers in the GBPVR Config app?
I've just installed GBPVR with a Hauppauge Nova-T. It works very well. Much better than then Pinnacle Mediacenter rubbish I tried a while back and have since discarded.
However, I never watch any TV on the PC. Instead I just use it for recording and I watch the recordings through a Pinnacle Showcenter (which is actually a very good product).
I want to write some php pages for the showcenter so I can set recordings via the showcenter's interface (something I should have been able to do with the Mediacenter). Is it possible to add these recordings to the GBPVR recording service without using the GBPVR interface?
Hi All, getting ready to build my first PVR using gbpvr software. I would like to know where this group buys it's PC's and cards. My set will have the following.
1 - PC at least 2 GHz with 1 gig ram, running Win2k professional. 1 - 40 gig HDD for OS & 1 - 120 gig HDD for recordings. What is a good supplier of this type of PC
2 - PVR150 watching TV of recording in 2 seperate rooms
2 - MediaPVR for watching TV or recording
Should I purchase a better Video card that comes in most PC's
Should I use a pre-built PC? I've built a few PC's but it's just easier to buy one and put the cards in.
My goals are to be able to record or watch TV in seperate rooms.
Thanks for everyone help and your experience.

I see there is an option for daemon tools. I have pointed this to the correct location of daemon tools. Now, how does this work with GB-PVR? I have a couple .bin & .cue files and I would like to play the videos with GB-PVR. Is there a way to do this, if not what is the reason for having daemon tools link in config. TIA
