Does anyone else have this problem: When after playing one file perfectly I stop it and go to start a second file and I just get a black screen. It looks like the file is playing but nothing shows up on the screen. I have to exit gb and restart the recording service. I'm using the 350pvr for my output and recording at the same time.
Bug: Â I selected a program and then 'record season' Â The box changed color on the guide but nothing got scheduled. Â Scheduling a single episode works fine.
Requests:
1) Display the channel number along with the station identifier in the guide. Â Something like:
8
WABC
Maybe make the number a slightly larger font?? (if there is room)
2) Display the description and episode info along with the program name up in the guide grid. Â Save you from selecting the entry just to see that information.
3) When selecting a entry in the grid, make the entire grid square a 'hot spot' instead of just the text.
4) Make the number of rows to display before repeating the column headings configurable.
5) Add a option to display the channel logo's on the guide.
I'd have at it myself, but my only VS .NET box is down at the moment.
I've got an OEM Leadtek PVR2000 (no FM tuner) and haven't been able to get past the "failed to communicate with recording service" issue.
I beleive that the problem is that the OEM card is actually based on the nVidia MCE TV / DVxplore MPEG-2 chipset from LSI/C-Cube, and not the Conexant Blackbird like the retail version is.
I gather that this means it is not currently supported?
When you have selected a XML-file in configuration and push the update button, does the data in the xml file get storde som where else(like in recording service)? Or does GBPVR look in the xml-file every time you go in to the guide? The reason why I ask is that I have a problem whit recording, it records 1 hour late all the time, in the XML file I got it all fixt, so I just need to know if I am going to have to push the update button every time to get a change in the EPG?

(Sry for the bad English, no spellchek on this computer)
I have an Airlink+ card that has a Conexant CX23883 chipset. I want know if this card is Blackbird complient and if not if there is any way to get it supported.
hi
i'm having problems with the TV part.
i have the XTLTV data loaded, but when i try and watch, none of my channels are tuned, i've tried all the possible channels from 1-92, (Cable selected on the tuner card 250PVR , which works fine through wintv2000)
it's only GB-PVR that can't tune to the card. all other programs can pick up the channels fine.
otherwise a very nice product
thanks,
i'm running w2k3 server with 1gb memory, ati all-in-wonder graphics card. GB-PVR version 1.7i
On the configurator application, 'Edit Recording Source' drilldown dialog, add a status indicator that shows the last date/time the EPG was sucessfully updated, and a last status such as 'successful', or 'error' (with a reason). This is particularly important when using zap2it as GBPVR is going out and updating the guide automatically.
Are you ever planning to use the potential of the MPEG2 decoder chip on the Via EPIA boards ?
At current not allot seems supports this chip , I think I have only heard people having sucess with Power DVD. So I am not sure if this is a hard thing to implement or its just not popular enough to warrant developers to support it.
I tried to find some developers information for it but with no luck.
Just a tiny little niggly thing but as a I use the queueing (yellow button) function allot it would help to fix.
Basically when you use [yellow] to queue files you can use the [Page >] and [Page <] to skip back and forth through the currently queued songs however these buttons also skip up and down the directories. So it executes both of these functions at the same time.
