NextPVR stop recording early very often. It's been happening for 7 to 8 weeks. The latest example is American Ninja Warrior. The start time on log, ndigitalhost-27, is 2018-03-11 at 18:00. The end time is 2018-03-11 at 21:01. However, the recording only contains 1 hr and 20 minutes.
Appreciate any suggestion on debugging this problem
i have run in to an odd problem, i have been trying to watch hd channels on my odroid running libreelec, and the hd channels refuse to work properly, using the npvr addon sd channels play fine as do recorded hd programs, but if i try to watch a live hd channel i end up with a still picture sound for about 3-4 seconds then it has to fill the buffer and goes on like that. The hd channels play fine using x-newa.
i included the kodi log in case anything jumps out.
Just wondering how the "look for alternate airings on unresolved conflicts" ticbox works?
I have a case where I'm trying to record 5 shows at the same time, with 3 available tuners.
I get an unresolved conflict on 2 of the shows, that truly have no alternate airing.
However, there are 2 other shows in that group of 5 that do have alternate airings, but their time slots were not changed. I have to manually change their time slots so I get all 5 shows.
i have updated to the new version 4.1 from 4.05 and now I experience that my HP Microsoft MCE Media Center IR Rc6 Remote Controller starts up NextPvr like its supposed to do (Always starts up fullscreen), but then in "game" the remote stops working right away NextPVR is started, and I have to choose any menu with mouse, then the remote control starts to work fully in NextPvr.
Has anyone experienced this kinda behavour in 4.1, worked flawless in the old version 4.05 and WAF has fallen a bit, as I had to explain to her what to do
We went from Windows Media Center on an old Windows 7 to a newer machine with Windows 10 and NextPVR + HDHomerun Expand and kinda never looked back, other than the smaller problems with "Record service not startet" occasionally with skipped recordings as follow and now this remote control thing.
I'm using version 4.1.0 (180302) on windows 10 1709. The screen was set to 150% scaling when first installed. I've since removed and reinstalled, but the left mouse clicks select items further down the screen or in the wrong place. The roller works fine as do right clicks and changing settings in the Settings menu, but the main menu and channel guide are way off. Anyone have a direction to point me in? Thanks in advance.
The latest version of NPVR is giving me a video/sound sync problem on the client on 1080i mpg2 recordings. This didn't occur on the last version. It does not occur on the server and Emby is able to play those files just fine on my client. All other recording formats also play fine on the client, including 1080p h264 files. I've tried every combination of sound and video codec I have as well as tryting different audio/video renderers. Anhyone have any ideas?
At present, video playback shows a timeline based on its length.
Can an option be added to show a timeline based on the time-of-day the recording was made? So instead of the timeline showing 0 - 1:01:59, it would show 14:59:00 - 16:00:59.
Many times I make notes during a show noting the time-of-day a particular scene appears so that I can replay it later. Getting to the correct spot based on "how far into the show" I need to go can get tedious.
Here is a thread where you can download the updated UK Freeview DVB-T tuning ini's as they become available, or you can ask for a particular one.
I will try to produce all the Full and Extended Freeview Transmitters.
You will need to put the updated Tuning ini for your Transmitter from the following posts into C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Tuning\DVB-T Then retune, making sure you start with the Country dropdown (United Kingdom) list first (otherwise the new ini's will not show in the transmitter list)
The Muxes in all the following ini's are listed in the following order - not Numerical Channel Order.
Currently in the Settings->Channels->Groups dialog, dragging a channel to a group list on the right adds the channel to the end of the list. Unless channels are added sequentially when the group is created, subsequent additions will appear out of order in the guide.
Can the drag & drop operation be enhanced to allow the new channel to be dropped on a group channel and added to the group just before that channel? Or maybe a "re-sequence" group button?
