Set the software: Start FullScreen & Right Mouse as Back.
Try to get to the settings, I dare you! Apparently, you can't. Well, you can:
Open the config file up (requires mouse and keyboard, thankfully my Air Mouse has both), find StartFullScreen and set it to False, save, re-run, right click on the top left corner of the menu bar, Settings, but moving the mouse down causes it to disappear, watch the hover line go down to settings, click you should be there.
To avoid all this, can we PLEASE get "Settings" added to the menu? In case you're wondering, I just went through this... Apparently the mouse vanishes when it goes over the Menu of the software (below the Menu bar only visible out of Full Screen mode).
Anything else I need to setup/configure? Am I able to feed the stream in m3u8 format to an external websever if there are 200+ users wanting to watch the channel? Thx
Hello, once I get NextPRV setup with my ATSC kworld stick, can this program or an addon allow me to get access to it from over the internet? maybe even stream it in an m3u8 format to a webserver for me to access? Thank you
This is a relatively new problem: when I shut down a video or recorded program on the client NPVR will occasionally hang. The only way I can get out of a black screen is to click repeatedly on that screen with the mouse. Then I get a message that NPVR is not responding and do I want to quit. It will then do so and I'm returned to a Win7 opening screen. NPVR will then open just fine and work fine for a few times and then repeat the who hanging problem again. Any ideas on what's causing this. I enclosing the client log files, although 7 zip says they're still in use even though I've shut NPVR down.
Now, is there a way to add closed captions to the (mp4) ts ffmpeg transcoded file, the same way Handbrake does when adding “--subtitle 1” to the command line arguments?
I have been using NPVR for some years now and thought I was quite familiar with it, until the last few weeks.
I have been recording a long running series 'Formula 1' which has this season moved to UK Channel 4.
When I set it up to record on this channel I could not find any appropriate thumbnail when I searched for one using the 'Find More/Listings/TVDB' in the TV listings plugin, so I added a logo to the 'Shows' folder.
This is no problem the logo appears with Pending programs until every time a recording event occurs for this series, then it saves a 'Formula 1.fanart.jpg' picture file and a 'Formula 1-catalog.xml' file to the 'Shows' folder. If I delete them they just reappear next time!
I have searched everywhere to try to find the instruction that is causing this to happen and remove it, but I just cannot find it.
Can you help me with this please as I am finding it frustrating, I do not really want to completely uninstall NPVR and remove all traces to have to reinstall and set it all up from scratch to resolve this issue..
Every once in a while the recording engine locks up. I notice when checking tuner status from the tray icon, it shows up empty. It's happened two or three times over the last few months. I figured I would upload logs and ask the experts if they could see anything out of the ordinary in the them that would explain why it was locking up. I caught it early this time with the most recent lockup around 2:00pm on 4/3
There are five OTA channels in my area. When I click on one to watch, it just sits at a black screen. How do I fix this? I'm using Schedules Direct as my TV guide, and I have a Hauppauge Colossus 2.
Has anyone ever solved this problem? I saw some posts on this subject a while back but didn't run across them today. This isn't a huge problem since that notice goes away in about 20 seconds and only the first recorded tv program has a delay in starting. After that, everything is normal. I'm attaching a file of the logs after a start and shutdown.
Most of my auto-record stuff works but I am finding that certain shows are failing to autorecord and to get them I have to manually select the show under "episode" search and click "submit" then the episodes are found and can be flagged for recording.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" is one that I noticed today - logs attached.
