Background:
On upgrading to 97.9 everything worked fine for a few weeks. (Using Cyberlink MUX)

Then last week I developed a problem with my recorded video becoming jumpy and way out of sync, and freezing. Reboot seemed to fix it. Then it suddenly happened again.

I thought I would change MUX. It seemed like a possible culprit.

So I switched to DVR-MS and lost my OSD only during playback or timeshift. Live TV is fine.

Changed back to Cyberlink and the OSD came back. I can't believe this are linked.

No logs just yet as at work.

QUESTIONS:
- Any thoughts on why recording behaviour might suddenly change. (I don't touch this machine it is a dedicated PVR)
- Could MUX possibly affect playback OSD?

It'll be somehow related to the video decoder being used. It sounds like it is using a different video decoder for .DVR-MS vs .MPG files.
