Can anyone please post the scan.cache entry for the new ITV 1 HD channel? It launched at 6am today.
I am confused, because the original 'red button' channel still works fine, and has been full-time for the last week or so. So will it continue on two transponders?
After installing the latest version, all I could do was to watch it try to update. The 'updating' stayed on the menu for over 8 minutes. So, I reinstalled....same thing. I then uninstalled completely, removed the weather2 directory and started from scratch. Now when trying to start config I get "object reference not set to an instance of an object". Click ok and another loading error but config starts. Under the plugins tab, there are no plugins showing. As soon as I uninstall Weather2, config starts just fine.
What did I do wrong?
I installed the latest (April 1 version) of Weather2. The good news is that it no longer crashes PVRX2.
The bad news is that it still has problems with Alerts. It gives error message: Error within alert_source.html file. If you want a location for testing that currently has alerts, use Honolulu, HI.
Also, in the PVRX2.exe log there was the following messages. I use the Community skin.

I have been wondering how can we get fanart into gbpvr so the background changes when we select a movie or tv directory. Currently on my rig the only plugin that supports the full back ground changes are the Videos Library plgun and the default blue skin that comes with gbpvr.
I have found a pretty awesome cover and fanart scraper that works pretty good with gbpvr's recording files and downloads the art without much file changing so a batch is real easy. The picture is in the wrong file name (fanart.jpg vs background.jpg for gbpvr) I decided to scrap some movie directories and change the fanart.jpg to background.jpg and it works well. Creatively you can find a way to batch 100's of directories to background.jpg easily.. anyway
The program is called Ember Media Manager and has options to save metadata and cover/fanart in many formats for various htpc software. get it here http://code.google.com/p/embermediamanager/
ok so fan art displays fine in the videos library plugin using the blue skin in gbpvr but when I try community skin 4 I get no back ground changes.
A picture says a thousands words so here are the examples of the blue skin and community skin using videos library plugin and I am wondering if the devs plan on adding these features to the skins? Mayham3 also does not take advantage of these features.
When I try to launch any of the Microsoft Games (Hearts, Freecell, etc) from this plugin, I get an error:
2010-04-01 18:14:19.961 ERROR [1] Programs Plugin: Error Launching program from shortcut
2010-04-01 18:14:19.961 ERROR [1] The system cannot find the path specified
If I go to the configured shortcuts directory in Windows Explorer, I can launch them from there using the same shortcuts. Non-MS shortcuts in the same directory will launch OK. What's so different about the MS ones?
I suspect it's because they are 64-bit. Would that make a difference? If so, is there a workaround?
I am having a problem with post-show padding on two different systems, one running 1.3.11 under XP and the other running 1.4.7 under WIN7x64. If post-show padding is set to one minute and the padding interval conflicts with another scheduled recording then the metadata is not written to the first recording. The first recording stops and the second recording starts at the scheduled time (as expected, the padding is ignored). The metadata is always written to a recording if the padding does not cause a conflict.
To demonstrate the problem, I set post-show padding to one minute and set to record "Ask This Old House" from 0830 to 0900 and then "Yard Crashers" from 0900 to 0930. After the second recording completed, I ran RecoverRecordings to dump the metadata from the two recordings with the following results.
I have the latest GBPVR version. Just tonight, it started to crash on launch. I get that window that says that microsoft has experienced a problem and i can choose to send the error to microsoft.
