Is There any way a Vcr can be connected to Gbpvr.
Maybe a Plugin or something.
I was thinking of Converting Vhs to Dvd.

I´ve tried searching the forum for an answer on this issue without finding it.

My issue is that GB-PVR can´t find some of the free DVB-T channels, actually the swedish television channels (SVT).

If I use Terratec Home Cinema which came with my card (Terratec Cinergy T XXS) it finds all of the channels with good quality doing a normal scan.

I had to add the card manually into the BDA.ini following another thread here in the forums so GB-PVR finds the card and is able to do a scan but can´t find all channels.

I also suffer from not being able to watch live tv but I found a possible solution for that here in the forums.

I am also having trouble with changing channels. Sometimes it freezes, sometimes it drops me back to the main menu.

I have tried various dongles, with a combination of mux's but cannot get a combination that works.

I saw today you can create social groups in the forums - I wouldn't mind creating the NZ DVB-T/Freeview HD group to discuss the unique problems we have here? Is this a good idea.

I am now unable to start PVRX2.EXE now. I get the following message (please see attached .jpeg) Unhanded exception has occurred in a component in your application. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

It crazy because it has been working so well and now im not sure what i did or didnt do. Thanks for your help on this matter.

GBPVR comes with a bunch of preset sat configs. If you are scanning the typical north american birds, what type of modifications do you need to do to those config files in order to get all of the channels on those two popular birds ?

i.e. do you have to subtract 25600 from the H transponders and then replace H with a V or can you use as is ?

I am a C# .NET developer and started to use GB-PVR recently. I am very interested in starting to create plugins. Can anyone let me know where i can find useful sample code? I've tried to look on these forums as well as on google, but was unsuccessful. I apologize if I simply missed it in these places. Thanks in advance!

I have a weird issue that I can't see to locate in previuous threads - I can get TV out to work via the old version but cannot on version 2 - now that version one is no longer being packaged, it seems I should try to figure out what is going on -

The interface will load on a monitor, just not to a TV out

When I use DVBDream I can see Emunation working. I'm very close to finally getting GBPVR to work but I don't see the MDAPI plugin anywhere to view the Emunation program working.

In MediaPortal I can after multiple trys see the MDAPI icon in the system tray but with GBPVR it isn't there and the macro that comes with the MDAPI install won't put it there either.

How can I watch Emunation work like you can with other packages ?

I just came across an interesting thing. I have a program scheduled to record at 12:00am tonight (Star Trek Voyager on Spike) and one at 1:00am (Star Trek Deep Space 9 also on Spike). When I go to the TV Guide page and thumb over towards 12:00am the red bar on the time indicating I have a recording scheduled during that time period does not show up. If I thumb down to the program in the listing it is in red though and it is in the pending list too. If I continue to scroll over and 12:00am goes off the left side of the screen and 12:30am is on the left then it does show 12:30 ro 2:00am as red, thumb back over a half hour though and it doesn't show anything red between 12:00am and 2:00am.

I hope that makes sense. It's not a big deal - I just kinda watch that while I'm thumbing through the guide to see if I'm recording something during that time period. It showed I wasn't so I tried to set a recording and the conflict manager popped up and told me there was a conflict, so it's not a big deal but I thought I'd bring it up for when Sub gets the program absolutely perfect and needs some minor stuff to look at just to keep his programming skills up . I'm guessing it has something to do with being 12:00am and the dates changing?
