Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I don't think so. I tried to delete a recording from a group in the recordings section. That went well, but then when I hit "ok" on another show in the same group, I got an ArrayIndexOutOfRange (or something of the same meaning). Nothing serious, if you hit back and go into the group again, you can access the show, so there's an easy workaround. :-)
I'm still having a problem with live TV. When an episode is over, playback stops, turns black, then the new episode starts. This seems fine to me, but I never have sound when the new episode starts. If I use the yellow button to go to last channel, then come back, the sound is there. Looking at the release notes from the maintenance build, I noticed that there is a new setting called "LiveTV Pre-Play". I guess I'm wondering what this setting does. should I try increasing it until live TV Works.
My appologies if this has been posted I could not find any recent posts explaining this. Oh yeah, I also tried using the bigger black mpeg.
I'm a newbie to this. Is there anything special I need to do before installing the latest version? Do I just run the new *.msi file? Do I need to uninstall the old version 1st? Will it be like the very 1st time I installed v0.22 as far as going through the setup process or will all of my settings from the last version still be there? Sorry for the questions. Just wanted to get a good idea of what to expect.
I'm definitely looking forward to the latest goodies!
Thanks!
P.S. Â Donating is so easy! I literally did a donation last night in less than 30 seconds. Lack of time is not an excuse for not donating to Sub! Just a little plug for the great work Sub has done.
I'm running Server 2003, and am hoping to install GBPVR on it. Has anyone tried this? Sub, is there any reason you know of that this won't work? If no one knows I'll give it a try and hope for the best... thanks!
Can we as a development community agree to use the DatabaseConnection element from the Config.xml file to get the source for our database connections if we are going to query/manipulate the database directly.
Either that, or can we get a Plugin API that returns a Connection object based off the information in the config.xml. This will help ensure that the plugins still work, if the database that is being used changes.
Couldn't find any previous posts about this, I guess its not an important feature for most, but how about a way of playing CD's through GBPVR.
At the moment I have Windows Media Player auto play any CD I put In but It would be nice if it was integrated into the program.
Oh yeah, another small thing: It would be cool if the list of files in the video library directory had the same format as in the recordings area. i.e. a list you can scroll down through rather than the big boxes.
Other than that Great software.
keep up the good work Sub
sub in the next build can you change the page up/down buttons for the search guide from replay/skip to green/blue, just to make things constant.
cheers.
