sub could you make it so if gbpvr is idle for 10mins or so on a menu (obiviously not during video playback/live tv) just so no one forgets they left gbpvr on tv, and come back to find their very expensive tv now has an imaged burned into.
just a simple black screen or like 90% black or something, windows can handle it if you're using tvout on gfx card (well i presume it can) but need support for pvr-350 and xcard.
or make it switch to live tv (could be a problem if tv channel has a static image thou, so screensaver might be better)
sorry for requesting so many things, if you want me to stop just say (i ramble to much, for this im sorry )
sub could you add a button in most menus to change the view, and also put this in the config file (i preffer the details view (ctrl-b) to the standard but its annoying having to do this every time).
a button like the one in xbmc would look nice.
i would be really nice (dont expect this to be around for ages if ever, but nice) if the folder preference was remembered so some directories are detailed view and some thumbnails (if not set use users default setting)
I am writing a plug-in the archives recordings out of the current recording directory and into an archive directory. It then lets you browse through your recordings (by show name sorted either by newest to oldest or oldest to newest) and play them.
My question is, when I call the PlayVideoFile method, the video plays fine but when the user (me) stops the video playback the system returns to the main menu instead of to my plug in. What do I need to do to have control return to my plug-in? Do I need to launch the playback differently or capture some event?
I can get the PVR 150MCE for $65.00 and the only difference I see between the two cards is the PVR250MCE has hardware VCD support which I do not care about. I want DVD support which it has the Conexant 416 chip to do MPEG 2 enc. Any thoughts; here is a link that compares the cards:
Hi !
Is there a way to make Leadtek WinFast TV USB II external TV tuner card with GB-PVR ? It got some kind of PVR software included (WinFast PVR and WinFast FM) - but I much more prefer to use GB-PVR with it !
Rgds,
Alex
Is there anywhere with GBPVR to change the size of the OSD through an MVP? The top and bottom of the screen are getting cut off, which doesn't happen with the Hauppauge UI, so I assume it's the video sizing from GBPVR. It also seems to make the screen look compressed side to side, although the computer interface looks fine...?
Hey guys... I just got my PVR250 card... I can watch and record live tv from the WinTV app, but I don't get a picture when running GB-PVR...
I have the same problems with Sage and BTV...
I have a Scientific Atlanta 3250 Digital Cable box through Cox Communications... at the moment I've got the box connected to the tuner on the 250 card with standard coax...haven't been able to locate my S-video cable yet...
I've tried the tuner set to both ch3 and ch4, but still no video...I've got audio, but no video.
I've thinking that the SIMPLE solution is to simply run an svideo cable from the box to the 250, and set the software to svideo instead of the tuner...
Anyone else have any ideas on how to get video through the tuner?
Thanks guys!
Aside from this problem, GB-PVR has been very easy to use and very stable...running XP Pro...
